Hello! I am a writer and editor based in Philadelphia. Currently, I am a copy editor for The Intercept, a nonprofit investigative news organization covering politics, war, surveillance, corruption, the environment, technology, criminal justice, the media, and more. I was previously the digital editor at the Texas Observer, a nonprofit magazine exploring politics and culture in Texas since 1954. I also co-published Preachy, a website about introspection and spirituality under the worker-owned media cooperative the Brick House. I helped found Green House, an event series in Austin, Texas, aimed at creating what Naomi Klein calls an “infrastructure of care” — in the case of Green House, that meant a designated space for discussing our relationship with the Earth and each other. My writing has appeared in the Texas Observer, Texas Standard, the Austin Monitor, and other publications.
